DMAD ACCOBAMS course 2026 to run March 18 to 23 İstanbul – Princes Islands in the Sea of Marmara

We are now taking applications for the DMAD ACCOBAMS course 2026 to run March 18 to 23 inclusive in the Princes Islands in the Sea of Marmara, close to Istanbul, Turkiye. Course to cover 4 days of classroom sessions to cover ACCOBAMS Mitigation,  Marine Mammal Observation (MMO – 1 day in class),   Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM – 2 days in class) and  QGIS (1 day in class).  Additionally there will be a minimum of two boat based days with a towed array and visual watches where dolphins and porpoises are expected to be encountered. Course cost will be €720 without accommodation or meals.
